Most people leave the cleaning of their homes for the weekend and end up complaining that they couldn’t rest properly. You can avoid this from happening by making a daily sanitation plan and following it to the latter. If you have never drafted a cleaning agenda before, keep reading because we will present to you a schedule which you can use as a base for your own.
Monday:
Commence by making your bed as soon as you get out of it (you should do this every day). Another thing that you should do on a daily basis is to quickly wash your shower cabin after your morning bath. Once you are done brushing your teeth, grab a clean microfiber cloth and thoroughly wipe all your bathroom amenities:
- Countertops
- Sink and faucet
- Toilet
- Bathtub
- Mirror
End your cleaning routine by mopping the floors and removing all the soap scum with the right cleaning detergent. All this will take no more than 10-15 minutes but it will ensure that you are using a clean bathroom for the remainder of the week.
Tuesday:
After your morning routine, grad all your dirty clothes and load the laundry machine. Then grab your vacuum and clean your area rugs, carpets and furniture upholstery. Also remove the dust from your living room and dining room with the aid of a duster. Once again use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe clean all surfaces in the aforementioned rooms. Open the window to aerate your living room and dining room, and turn attention to your window treatments. If they are dirty and soiled, contact a professional a professional cleaning company to come and sanitize them. You should have your blinds, curtains and drapes cleaned by professional at least once every six months. Once you return home from work, take out your laundry, fold it and put it in place.
Wednesday:
Once you have had your breakfast, grab a clean cloth and wipe your kitchen cabinets and countertops. You should also wipe clean the exteriors of your appliances. Clean the floor by mopping it and don’t forget to open the windows in order to aerate the room. Go through your refrigerator and cabinetry, and gather all the foods that are either rotter or passed their expiration date and throw them. The interior of your kitchen appliances should be cleaned once every month and if you are too busy to handle the task on your own you can also delegate the job to a licensed sanitation company in Andersonville. Load the dishwasher before you go to bed.
Thursday:
Empty the dishwasher in the morning and arrange your dishware and utensils. Vacuum your entrance and clean your boot tray in order to remove all the dirt and dust. Keep in mind that the boot tray is one of the dirtiest items in a household, so never skip this stage. Also, remove all coats that you aren’t currently wearing and hand them in a close.
Friday:
Grab a basket and collect all misplaced items. By this point you will most likely have to wipe once again all the surface in your bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room. But since you have done it once during the week, it won’t take too much of your time. Take out the garbage.
Saturday:
Vacuum your entire house, do the groceries and wash your patio and front porch. Mow your property’s green areas.
Sunday:
Rest and relax!!!
